As we ring in 2019, economic fundamentals in the United States are sound and should support sustained growth in construction. Indeed, according to the most recent Commercial Construction Index (CCI)(New window), an indicator of the health of the contractor segment of the U.S. building industry from Dodge Data and Analytics, the industry is solidly in “healthy” territory.


While the industry outlook for the new year is positive overall there are a few unpredictable macroeconomic factors to take into account when preparing your business for success in 2019.
